Following a joint working party review over a period of four months facilitated by one of INTENT's consultants a number of distribution system designs were developed to ensure consistent reliable supply of newsprint and a minimum of seven weeks stock in the supply chain.  The implemented design resulted in significant savings for all parties - Norske, customer and transport provider - all while meeting the performance criteria of on time in full delivery.
