Each year FBNZ produces 1,300 tonnes of specialty cheese and snack products.  So when the packing line for a new product at Fonterra’s Eltham site in Taranaki was experiencing significant periods of downtime, their production figures began to suffer.

THE SOLUTION: Targeted and Structured Improvement

In just four months, Intent Group helped increase line efficiency by 33%, by identifying and addressing recurring issues with staff, equipment and suppliers. These problem areas had been detected by observing and analysing current practices to identify the inefficiencies.
