In an ideal world, knowledge would always be shared. Now, more than ever, it is important for Kiwis to show their support of New Zealand’s small businesses by imparting their expertise.
At Intent, we’ve been striving to provide guidance to those around us both during the COVID-19 lockdown, and as we all come out of the restrictions and commence living our new normal. Some are still figuring out what the future looks like. That’s why Intent’s Managing Director, Ian Walsh and several of Intent’s team members are offering their expertise through Manaaki.
The word Manaaki describes the act of caring, showing respect and kindness towards someone. It’s rooted in the idea of putting your neighbour before yourself and showing kindness because you want to, not because you have to.
Manaaki was created by Pat and Jada MacFie, Monty Betham and The Icehouse Ventures Director Andy Hamilton and is a free online support network that provides SMEs with the opportunity to reach out to thousands of registered experts for guidance on any challenges they may be facing. With some of our team joining these experts, we’re excited to share our knowledge, free of charge. By simply signing up and sending through a question your business needs help with, you can open up the doors of possibility as you and your business pave a new path post COVID-19.
Between us, we already have the knowledge and capability to make our country great. By supporting each other and working together, we can not only repair the damage caused by COVID-19, but move on to greater things.
If you have any questions about what continuous improvement practices can do for your business, or require support to transform your business, get in touch with Intent on 09 523 0366 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
